State historical sites free to vets

(Albuquerque Journal) A nice perk is now available through the summer for all active duty military and their families: free admission to state museums and historic sites around New Mexico.
The eight state-run museums and historic sites under the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs have joined the 2018 launch of Blue Star Museums.
It is an annual collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, Department of Defense and more than 2,000 museums across the U.S. offering free admission to active-duty military, including National Guard and Reserve and their families, from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2018.
