Exhibit of photos of Frida Kahlo explores artist’s ever-shifting identity

(Albuquerque Journal) ... Kahlo learned the power of photography as a teenager assisting her father, a well-known photographer, in the darkroom. She posed, manipulated and used the camera to record her passion for her husband, the muralist Diego Rivera,, her agonizing physical decline, her love of animals and Native culture. Continued
