A View from the Canadian Escarpment

The most scenic hundred miles in Eastern New Mexico are from Ragland to Trementina, which takes one from the Caprock Escarpment, through "The Mesalands," to the Canadian Escarpment. It's also the most atypical, full of mesas, cliffs, and scenic elevations. The route is simple: Route 209 below Tucumcari, Route 104 above Tucumcari.
